Oklahoma State University Medical Center is one of the nation’s largest osteopathic teaching facilities. With 20 residency and fellowship programs, the Tulsa hospital trains nearly 300 residents annually in primary care and subspecialties. Together with OSU Center for Health Sciences, 3,700 physicians have been trained, many of whom continue to serve communities across Oklahoma.

Located in the heart of downtown Tulsa, OSU Medical Center is a key player in the OSU Academic Medical District, which is transforming health care in the region. It will soon include the James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center, the Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center, upgraded OSU Medicine clinics and an expanded OSU Medical Center. A $230 million hospital expansion—adding nearly 180,000 square feet—will enhance patient care, strengthen physician training and advance groundbreaking biomedical research in pain and addiction. These additions will also open new opportunities for resident training across more specialties and clinical settings.

Through partnerships with OSU Center for Health Science and Diagnostic Imaging Associates, OSU Medical Center extends its reach to rural Oklahoma, fulfilling the goal of ensuring every Oklahoman has access to health care when they need it.
